This is a plain-language description of what Roomback collects and does with it — not a substitute for legal advice. If you need a policy reviewed against a specific jurisdiction's requirements, please have it reviewed by counsel.
What we collect
Your name and email address (signup), the photos you upload of items you're selling, the listing details you enter or confirm, and basic usage data needed to run the product (which pages you visit inside the app, when a listing was created or marked ready).
How your photos are used
Your photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to identify the item, draft a listing, and suggest a price. They are stored privately in your account and are never sold, and never shared with other Roomback users or the public — the only time a photo becomes reachable outside your account is when you choose to post a listing to a marketplace, at which point that marketplace can fetch it as part of publishing your listing there.
Who we share data with
Service providers that help us run Roomback: Supabase (database, file storage, authentication), Anthropic (AI photo analysis and listing generation), Stripe (billing), and Resend (transactional email). We do not sell your data to anyone.
Your choices
You can export a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Data & account. You can opt out of the daily email summary from Settings → Notifications.
